Big Move and Blog Sale Update

With just around 2 months left to get my act together, my stress levels increase a little more everyday. I mean, this is my first time stepping out on my own. Many of you probably have already experienced "leaving the birds nest" shall I say for lack of better terms. I've always had the comfort of living with my parents. Not to mention the fact that they never asked me for a penny of rent. I've basically been an only child for the past 7 years since my brother moved out after he got married so this isn't only huge for me, it's huge for my parents as well.

The more i think about it, the more I get mixed feelings about it. This is my home.. these are my friends.. this is my family.. it is just so bittersweet to me. Then I think about everything I'm about to experience, the potential I have in a different city, let alone new country, I get to meet new people and just get myself out there! I am, however looking forward to missing out on the winter season =]. I just can't wait to get the next phase of my life started.

I mainly wanted to post this blog to reach out to those of you who have already experienced what it's like to be on your own. Obviously it's different for everyone out there and I'll experience it all as I go.
Any tips, comments, advice you can share with me on my big move, I will definitely appreciate =]

Blog Sale Update: Individual items will be posted this weekend! For those unaware, Canada Post is currently on strike throughout Canada so shipping may be a bit difficult. I'll do my best to have everything done either through FedEx, Purolator or UPS. All payments will only be accepted via PayPal and first come, first sale basis only.
I've had quite a few emails sent to me already from followers expressing interest on certain items, so some items you might see in the preview photos may no longer be available.
Due to the lack of Postal Service, I would prefer to ship out only throughout Canada and the US only, but if you see something you really like and you live outside Canada or the US I will definitely consider it.

At last but not least, a huge loving world wide welcome to my new nephew.
Welcome to the world Baby Deron Daniel <3

Until Next Time ;)

Hello Lovelies,

This isn't the update you were expecting, mainly because it's not MsDebraMaye actually updating..,
No I'm not a hacker, I'm merely a friend who is kick starting these up coming changes to this blog. It is about time that it gets a long over due make over.
So please hold tight while the changes slowly take place.

See you, at the top of the world;

It seems that with every post I do, I start with the lines "long time no post" or something like that. I figured out the reason why. I've always felt obligated to do long posts. Just only recently have I realized that even a sentence, as long as it is powerful enough, could be post worthy. My nearest and dearest have been active on their blogs and they are the reason why I want to revive mine.

Thought I would focus this post on updating you all with this busy life of mine. I've recently celebrated my 23rd birthday. I've been wanting to do a birthday post for a while but I just couldn't put all the thoughts in my head into words.

This past year, has been THE most life changing, monumental year of my life thus far. Anyone who is anyone in my life will attest to that matter. I can humbly say that I started to have a grasp on what its like to finally, grow up and be a woman. See the thing is, it starts at home. Home is definitely where the heart is. My family is now my first priority, and really, being in a typical filipino family, parents never usually openly accept you as an adult..right away. You have to prove yourself first. Things have never been better when it comes to my individual relationships with my amazing parents and my big brother, all of whom I have never loved as much then as I do now. It all comes down to the respect I have for them, and the respect you have for yourself that shines through how organized and successful you are. It reflects how well they raised me. It brings me to tears every single time I hear how proud my parents are of me. In the recent light of things in my life, I cherish every waking moment I have with my family. Knowing our time together will soon end until I'm off to fend for myself in a new home, new setting, new friends, new everything.

By the way, did I mention I was leaving? This is my official announcement that I will be moving to California this September. (AHHH!!!!!) Im set to "denounce loyalty to Canada". My life has yet to begin! I have been blessed with my family, my friends who I refer to as my second family, my career has soared and I've grown as much as I possibly could with my company, and lastly, most importantly; the person behind all the good things in my life, is my wonderful, amazing, supportive and loving boyfriend. Life can only get better from here because I have learned to filter all the negative people and negative aspects out. Yes, he is the reason for the next step/phase/chapter if you will, of my life. Big plans ahead of me, sacrifices to make to make my dreams come true await me.

So what's next you ask? I'm leaving for California next week for a 2 week vacation, planning a massive blog sale (got to get rid of EVERYTHING that I don't use anymore), wrapping up my job over the summer, saving like mad, spend more quality time with the loves of my life and God willing all in good time, I'll make it someday <3

FOTD - My Everyday Babaayy

Nothing too crazy, its just my everyday baby! Okay, maybe a lot more dramatic than my everyday face, real talk.

So, this look WAS supposed to be a tutorial, but I'm pretty choked that my Power Director is being such a piece right now. I had v7 but all the videos were running so slow I couldn't even edit it. So I spend time downloading the v9, the latest version and SAME THING! boo. Gotta find me a decent/easy video editing program asap. For now, take this as a temporary gesture of my efforts.

BTW. Day 10 not smoking a cigarette! Yes, I know 95%+ of you didn't even know that I smoked, it was nothing I was ever proud of but I'm glad to be able to kick the habit! Definitely not leading by example but for those of my followers who ARE smokers, here's to proving that you CAN quit and that it's not too late!

Hope you guys enjoy this look, until next time! <3
